Ashley first found our work from Chris and Rachael’s Tucson bridal session – even though we live in Minneapolis, we certainly love to travel and wouldn’t mind being a Scottsdale wedding photographer 😉
Timing worked out great since we always travel to Arizona during the winter to visit my grandparents – and I was so excited to have a wedding down there this year as well!
As we got to know them, I grew more and more excited for their day – a beautiful ceremony on the lawn of a beautiful home on the Arizona County Club with a reception on the other side. Scottsdale is filled with so many beautiful spots – and add to that a food truck and so much personalized decor? I knew I’d be in wedding heaven <3
And then what did we see? Rain and 60 degrees in the forecast? On the day of A&S’s it was actually warmer {and not precipitation!} in Minnesota!
BUT! We always make the best of things and got a TON of great pictures in. Their intimate backyard wedding was absolutely divine – and although the overly-saturated ground claimed the lives of my beloved Toms – it was 1,000% worth it <3
