When we met with Zach and Maddy – I was so pumped to learn they were having their wedding at Calhoun Beach Club – well I was pumped 🙂 We’ve photographed there many times and I always love going back 🙂 One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer in Minneapolis is the extent of awesome wedding venues we get to photograph at!
We had a beautiful day to spend with these two – their friends and family are just so sweet and easy to work with. Dan and I get to be part of numerous wedding days and it is always such a blessing to just feel part of the group on the day of – I mean – who wouldn’t want to ride in limos, eat wonderful meals and hang out with awesome people on the weekends??  😉
Maddy certainly put a lot of attention to the flowers and details of the day – and common! Â That draping on the back of their chairs…. I just adore it. Â The contrast of the deep purples on the lightness of the Calhoun Beach Club is just divine <3
You might notice Maddy’s veil – I just love that she wore her momma’s veil for her wedding day. Â It was so fitting to her, their day, the space and their relationship.
