Wedding at the Varsity Theater – Minneapolis

When Stina first emailed me – we hit it off from the get go.  If we have ever emailed before – you know that I like to use my fair share of exclamation points and smiley faces.  Basically I love to be able to feel excitement – even in an email 😉

Once we met – we knew that we would adore photographing their wedding day – and we did 🙂 We had such a great time getting to know their amazing friends, family and guests – plus – you know that your couples are awesome when they give you a thank you card with a gift card to your favorite place – COSTCO! 🙂

Thank you so much for letting us be part of your day Team Stiva, what a great way to spend photographing our 200th wedding – we look forward to keeping in touch for years to come!

This was my first time watching the 1920’s wave done in person – it was so fun to watch!

The guys also got a tutorial on how to tie a bow tie 🙂

We decided to keep warm for their first look before we headed outside for a few pictures

These two just love each other – you can see it in each glance, hug, door held and hand squeezed

If you have been to the Varsity – you may recognize this unique spot to take a picture 😉

Their ceremony was so personal, loving, God-honoring and very much spoke to who these two amazing people are

And of course – the Varsity Theater looked amazing 🙂

You may see that her dress is shorter 😉

And they did a fantastic first dance!

Even though it was quite cold – we couldn’t miss a picture with the great Varsity Theater sign!
