I won’t forget meeting Amy and Tate – Tate had just flown in the morning that we met them for the first time and also went to a cake tasting {and I believe} a site visit as well! And that was just the start of his busy weekend! We also did engagement pictures the same weekend he was in town!
You see – at that time, Tate recently got a job in Cincinnati – he is a NICU Doctor there : ) Amy since then also got a job at the same hospital – she’s a Pharmacist : )
We met and did their engagement pictures about a year before their wedding – little did we know – their wedding date would be the most popular date we’ve ever had!!! I lost track of how many inquires we had after 36….. just for their day!
But I wouldn’t have wanted to be at any other wedding – we had such a great time with everyone! They were all SO incredibly easy to work with and that makes our lives as photographers wonderfully smooth on wedding days : )
They had a beautiful ceremony at St Olaf Catholic Church in downtown Minneapolis – we then took pictures down at Father Hennepin Park/Stone Arch Bridge and then at the Twins Stadium.
Then we headed off to a beautiful cocktail hour in the Winter Garden of the Minneapolis Depot – followed by a wonderful reception in their grand hall.
My favorite part of the night? The best man’s speech – by FAR – the BEST I have ever heard – I wish I had a recording of it….. The best man wrote a song that he sang, and would have the guests all join in with a resounding “That’s Tate!” after each verse! It was AMAZING….. Oh – and her shoes? Also – AMAZING…..
: ) Thank you so very much for having us be part of your day – we had such a wonderful time and loved every minute of your day!!!
