October 3rd, 2009 was when we first met Cheryl and Efren – nearly 1 year {to the day} away from their wedding : )
We had a wonderful time taking their engagement pictures in the spring/early summer on a beautiful warm evening.
Their wedding day was equally s beautiful – both in the weather and in how wonderful they are …and their day was.
We arrive to find Cheryl nearly ready and Efren – well, not quite as much. They were still hanging out and getting ready. Until thy realized that Efren’s best man hadn’t gotten his suit pants hemmed. So Efren decided to hem them : )
Once Cheryl and Efren met, we did some fun pictures with them and the bridal party at the church. We were about to start family pictures when Efren’s mother broke her wrist – but this strong women didn’t want to go to the hospital until after the ceremony!! She is one tough cookie.
The ceremony went wonderfully – we love photographing at Bethlehem Lutheran Church : ) After the ceremony, we headed off to the Mendakota Country Club for the reception – another favorite place of ours : )
They had a beautiful reception, and we were able to steal away to the wonderful golf course and take some great pictures with the two of them that I know we will remember and love for a long time : )
So thank you Cheryl and Efren for letting us be part of your day : )
