Steve and Jenni are getting married at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis in May and wanted their engagement photos to follow a similar style. If you’ve visited our wedding photography website and seen our engagement galleries you’ll notice that this session was a step outside our typical style…. which was a lot of fun. We started out in NE Minneapolis at a furniture store and then moved our way back down to the main street area; with some photos at the Main Street Theater. We worked to create a retro/ offbeat look and Steve and Jenni played the role perfectly.
We tell all our wedding couples that we want to get to know their style and vision for their wedding day because no two couples or wedding days are exactly alike. As wedding photographers Karin and I definitely have a style of our own that threads its way through all our photos, but when it comes down to it we love to be creative, flexible and in-tune with our couples ideas…. in other words, we don’t need to take a cookie cutter approach to our work.
