Although we didn’t meet Candice and Trevor until their wedding day, I felt like I knew her long before from our conversations and emails leading up to their wedding. Candice just has this friendly, open, welcoming feel to her. The sweetness in her voice just makes you melt a little inside when you talk to her : ) Her genuine care for people radiates through her smile and actions – this I learned about her since January! Trevor’s a lucky man to have her for a lifetime!!
We met them in Duluth where Candice and Trevor wanted to start with pictures. Everyone was ready when we got there so we headed out back of the hotel and took a handful of group pictures by the water. It may have been sunny but it was windy and chilly, so after just a few shots we headed back through the hotel and across the street to this cute little area : )
After taking a few more group shots everyone was excused to go to Floodwood while we stayed and took some more pictures down by the rocks/water and then by the rose garden {even though the roses hadn’t bloomed yet – it was still nice!}
On our way to Floodwood we stop by this lone tree in the middle of a field to take some pictures – that’s where we really had a lot of people honking at us ; )
Once we got to Floodwood, we took some family pictures, then got going with the ceremony. It was a very nice ceremony, and very apparent how much love they were surrounded by and how much love the give to others.
They had a very nice reception {with more wonderful speeches about how kind-hearted, generous and loving they both are}. They truly are a match made in heaven : )
