I can’t even begin to express how MUCH we loved being a part of Brittanie and Travis’s wedding day : )
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet these two love birds until their wedding day – and I only say unfortunately because of how great these two are : ) You see, they live{d} in Iowa {only up until a short time before the wedding – now they are in Eden Prairie!!!}
Late last summer, just after they were engaged Dan was able to meet up with them and meet Brittanie’s sweet little daughter, Jaedyn : ) I think you’d agree she is absolutely adorable!
So, late one chilly Friday evening, we headed down to my parent’s house in Winona, MN so the doggies could stay with them! We left early the next morning for Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Even though the roads were covered they felt quite familiar – even though it had been just over a year since we were there {we photographed Alex and Heather’s wedding in Cedar Falls in 2009 – that is how Brittanie got connected with us, they went to nursing school together!}
Since neither of us had been to UNI before, we got there an hour early to scope the place out – boy it was nice! We were just thrilled to see the big windows, awesome art and cool stairways : )
As we got settled in and started on pictures, you got the feeling pretty early on that Brittanie was more than ready to marry the love of her life : ) Although nervous, she just looked stunning in her dress – and don’t get me started on those curls! {okay, maybe I’m a tad jealous….} ; )
I think you’ll enjoy B&T’s ‘first look’ pictures with Travis’s Wolverine {is that right?} hand-things : ) He is such a goofy, fun-loving guy that is going to be {and already is!} a GREAT Daddy for Jaedyn : )
There ceremony went wonderfully and shortly after, the fun commenced at Maucker Union.
Not gonna lie….. Had I have know what the campus was like at UNI…. I certainly would have had that school on the top of my list : ) Plus – Brittanie and Heather were there ; )
We had a great day with your Travis and Brittanie – thank you so much for letting us be part of your day! May God continue to bless your lives richly!
