Photographing Sarah and David’s Wedding was an awesome experience in so many ways. We had done engagement photos with them earlier in the summer at Sarah’s families lake cabin. As photographers we were with them for nearly 17hrs over two days for their wedding, and I don’t think the time could have gone quicker. Saturday was a typical day where we photographed from getting ready through the end of the dance. The two of them got ready at the Millennium Hotel downtown Minneapolis which provided a great environment for fun candid photos. I always enjoy when the wedding party as well as the family all get ready at the same location. Their Ceremony was at the Hennepin Ave Methodist church which is beautiful in its own right. We did outdoor photos with the family and bridal party at Loring Park which is just over the bridge from the church. At the time it was cloudy and threatening to rain…. fortunately after the wedding ceremony we were able to get outside with Sarah and David again to do some more portraits. The clouds had lighted up but were still present; making perfect conditions for outdoor wedding photography, and they were both so happy and relaxed after the ceremony was finished. Their reception and dance at the top of the Millennium Hotel was an absolute blast! Sunday was a Korean Ceremony and gift opening. Lets just say that there were more than a few choices to add to the blog and facebook. Its really hard to give a full idea of what the day encompassed as far as pictures. If you’re considering us for your wedding day just ask and we’d be more than happy to show you more photos of any of our weddings.
Not only were Sarah, David and everyone in attendance a lot of fun to work with, but it was really awesome to see how two very different families came together to celebrate this great relationship. Enjoy the photos…
