Erin and Darren were married at the Beautiful Scherer Garden in Eagan, MN on a sunny HOT day in August. I don’t know if it’s in any of the photos here, but the guys even came prepared with portable fans. If you’re thinking about having an outdoor ceremony in the cities I’d definitely check out this place, it’s gorgeous, in the metro, and has lots of great places for photos. Their isn’t any place on site for rain cover, so it’d be good to have a back up plan.
We didn’t need a back up plan, and it seemed like everyone enjoyed being outside and walking around the garden afterwords. The getting ready photos of Erin are at the Saint Paul Hotel, and they had their reception there as well. It’s a fun, classy location, with lots of great photo ops there as as well.
Funniest thing from the wedding day. Some of Erin’s cousins wouldn’t stop clinking their glasses, so Erin and Darren started nominating other guests to kiss, but some of them refused… so Erin and Darren had to kiss just to keep the cousins quiet. Poor guys! So take note future brides and grooms; you gotta take charge early or you might lose control and spend your whole dinner kissing ; )
