Dan and Leslie – raised in Minnesota – living in Boston – married in Minnesota…. so they’ve been back an forth quite a bit!

Their lovely day started at the Roseville Covenant Church in Roseville – I walked in to find Leslie and her lovely ladies getting ready.

Once she was ready, we headed into the sanctuary where Dan got to see Leslie’s STUNNING dress for the first time : )

After taking a handful of pictures in the sanctuary, we gathered everyone up in the limo and headed to the Stone Arch Bridge/Gutherie Theater Area for some fun pictures : )

So now we’re back for the ceremony {which went very well!} then the bridal party piled into the limo and Dan and Leslie into their lovely, vintage escort car : ) And the 5 of us {including the driver} went to take their wedding  pictures at the state capitol in St Paul – some of my favorites yet!

They had a beautiful reception at the Minnesota History Center – what a beautiful place!  This was our first time shooting a wedding there, this is was such an honor!  The space was just stunning!  It was fun to have so many levels to be on – there was the main level where everyone ate, the upstairs where they danced, and the patio – where the reception started with appetizers and drinks – it was perfect out for it!  They even had 2 stunning ice sculptures with their initials carved in it! One was outside {and dripping fast!} The other was inside – lasting a bit longer!

Finally, they had amazing cakeS – yes, plural!  Leslie had a surprise cake made and ready for Dan – it was a replica of their/Dan’s dog : )  So cute!!  And so wonderfully done by the Queen of Cakes!

Thank you Leslie and Dan for letting us be part of your day!
