Last January {2010} Dan and I showed our work at our first wedding fair. We met a lot of great couples {along with seeing a few of our 2010 brides!} but the most memorable couple of the day was certainly Chris and Angela. They walked right up to our booth and Chris literally JUMPED into it : ) we knew instantly that we would get along really well with these two : )
When the day was done and we got an email out to them, they excitedly replied and we had our first meeting that week : )Â It was fun to listen to all of Chris’ ideas for the wedding – the carnival theme with a Ferris wheel, cotton candy – the whole nine yards!
Unfortunately ; ) there wasn’t a Ferris wheel – BUT we did get to shoot their wedding at the BEAUTIFUL Oak Ridge Conference Center and Hotel. This was our first time there – and we were VERY impressed! They do in house cake and flowers – all very wonderful! Don’t miss Dan’s favorite picture of the Pastry Chef putting the final touches on the cake!
Although is was quite {okay – really!} hot outside – we all survived and enjoyed their beautiful ceremony in the shade! They had a great cocktail hour outside which moved indoors for a fun grand entrance and cake cutting!  They had some great speeches {during a wonderful dinner} : )
Chris and Angela brought some of their own props for the photobooth – and some of the kiddos got into them before the dance even got started! There were boa feathers everywhere! Literally!! They ran up and down three flights of stairs, all around the dining area and all over the dance floor!
