I am SO excited to share with you, Brett and Sasha’s wedding day!!! I cannot even begin to express how much FUN we had with these two – and their amazing wedding party!

Back in March, Dan did a wonderful job with their engagement session. I was so bummed I couldn’t be with them for that – I has a really bad bought of bronchitis for 2 weeks… blurg! It was so fun that they got to include their pup – Linus : ) I love love LOVE puppies – so that made it a double bummer for me!

Anyways – we were totally prepared to have a rockin’ good time with this group – and boy – let me tell you….. I have never laughed and cried as much as I did at their wedding! We started out the day at Hotel Minneapolis with some wonderful getting ready pictures. When we had Sasha and Brett see each other for the first time we they met in the lobby area – their bridesmaids were so sweet watching them around the corner – there was so much emotion all day long! {good emotion!!}

We headed off to the Walker Art Center and with the bridal party – took some great pictures around the Sculpture Garden. We had an especially great time just taking some goofy photos with everyone : ) We got in a few family photos, and then got some time to just get photos with Sasha and Brett together : ) Gosh they make a gorgeous couple – don’t they??

Right before their ceremony they had the traditional marriage agreement signing with the Rabbi, their family and bridal party. The document they signed was in Hebrew and was absolutely beautiful! I love all the detail in it!

Luckily, we dodged the rain and they were able to have their beautiful ceremony outdoors. The Chuppa {I believe it’s pronounced Hu-pah} was wonderful and made by Sasha’s dad. It was very neat to be a part of our first Jewish ceremony and experience all of their wonderful traditions : )

After the ceremony they had a great cocktail hour followed by an incredible reception at the Walker. Brett and Sasha met through a dance group in college and have been dancing ever since : ) So – for their reception, instead of kissing when people clinked their glasses, they did ‘timeless’ wedding dances, such as the YMCA, Macarena, Bunny Hop, Hokey-Pokey, etc…. They were hoping it would discourage the clinking… but I think everyone really enjoyed it!

For their first dance, they started off with a sassy {kinda fast!} tango into a fast-paced dance to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” SO fun!

To Brett and Sasha’s surprise – about 35 of their friends did a Flash-mob style dance after their first dance – it was incredible!! What amazing friends they have – just a great testament to how wonderful these two are : )

And of course – they had the Hora and the bouquet toss – a great way to finish the night for us : )

We had such a wonderful time – Sasha and Brett – thank you both for letting us be part of your wonderful day!!
