We had such a fabulous time with Marcus and Andrea – although we didn’t do an engagement session with them, I felt very connected with Andrea – mainly because she is just so darn easy to love!
I knew from the get-go that they would be a blast to work with : ) They are both just easy going and easy to photograph!
We started off with a beautiful day and a wonderful church in St Paul. The only unfortunate part was that the aisle floor was pretty dirty {which we didn’t know ahead of time} and her dress had black stains all over the bottom just from walking down to meet Marcus! But Andrea never even fret for a moment and her personal attendant and mother just got to work cleaning off her train.
I still have yet to think of a situation that would throw her into a tizzy! She is just so calm and collected that she, with a lot of class as well, takes everything in stride : ) It’s should be no surprise that she is a phenomenal teacher : )
We had a wonderful time taking pictures ahead of time and the ceremony got off without any issues. After we headed to Fort Snelling State Park for pictures {to Andrea’s father’s great joy – since he frequently tried to take the girls there when they were younger, but with much more protest!} ; )
It was a beautiful location for photos. As we headed to Brackett’s in Lakeville I was forewarned of a surprise awaiting Andrea and Marcus – Mr and Mrs Santa Claus! Andrea LOVES Christmas – so this was a VERY welcome surprise!
They had a beautiful reception with nearly 400 of their family and friends – our biggest guest list to date! We were thankful to get some more group shots in as well too : )
Lastly – I can’t forget to acknowledge that Andrea and Marcus’ wedding day was also Andrea’s Father’s birthday : ) Hence all the hats!
Congrats you two – I can’t say enough HOW MUCH I loved being part of your day. You are such a blessing to us – we feel honored to have been part of your day : )
