Dan and I met Shalanah in 2008 at a ‘boot camp’ for lighting – I was super excited and honored to receive Shalanah’s email that she is engaged and looking for a photographer!

Especially since she is an artist/photographer – check out her great work! http://www.shalanah.com/

We started the day with some getting ready pictures – and Grant had a busy time trying to locate his tie, cufflinks and marriage certificate!! They had two great personal attendants that got it all for him – in the mean time, we took pictures – ‘sin’ tie – many joked that he looked like the next James Bond – not a bad thing on your wedding day!

Luckily we got the shade on our side for the ceremony – it was still a bit toasty, but great! They had the MOST WONDERFUL musicians I have ever heard!! And they just met that day for the first time to rehearse! Music is also very important to them – Grant is a great singer/pianist so it was a treat to have him play/sing during the dance!

We got the honor of being able to go to the top of the Mill City Museum to take some photos after the ceremony…. what a wonderful view! Shalanah and Grant met through Broomball – so of course, we had do some pictures with their boots too : )

They had a beautiful reception and dinner – and the band was great!

We had a blast with you two – thank you so much for blessing US with the opportunity to be part of your day!!
