Going into Corey and Mandy’s wedding I was super excited. Through phone calls and emails I felt as though I got to know Mandy a bit and I knew their wedding day would be a blast. And that – was very true statement!
This wedding was also exciting for a few other reasons. This was my first full wedding without Dan. {He was on a kayaking trip with a few guys} But – I did get to bring Kelly and Katie with me : ) We drove down Saturday morning and got the day started at the reception hall to snap a few pictures. After which we joined Mandy and the girls.
After some time, I snuck away and took a few pictures of Corey and the boys – they certainly didn’t lack humor, good laughs and a whole lot of friendship : )
Once everyone was ready, we headed out to Corey’s parent’s farm where Mandy and Corey saw each other for the first time. We found a nice spot below some trees and they were just so excited and genuine in their excitement to see each other – it was so very sweet : )
We had a wonderful taking pictures around the farm, including by their wind turbines – how cool! Corey’s parents own Juhl Wind Inc. they are an established leader in Community-based Wind Power development and management, focused on wind farms projects throughout the United States and Canada. {per their website: http://www.juhlwind.com/index.html}
Once we were done with pictures, we headed to Corey and Mandy’s house for the wedding ceremony. It was a very sweet ceremony filled with lots of love for Mandy, Corey and their son Jonah. When that was done they had a receiving line and we then took a few more family pictures. {make sure you see all the kiddo pictures in there} : )
We later stopped at the bar and headed off to the reception hall. They had a quick dance, nice speeches and a traveling photobooth with some pretty hilarious props.
Thank you Mandy and Corey for letting the two K’s and I be part of your wedding day – we had such a blast and I can’t wait to take your family pictures next time you three are in Minneapolis!! : )
Love the photos, love all the photos – brill
