We first met Julie and Pat through our friends Andrea and Jared Porter – Julie and Andrea work together as nurses at Children’s Hospital! We really enjoyed getting to know Julie and Pat and we knew they would be a great couple to work with from the get go : )
We had a wonderful time doing their engagement session last fall at Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis – a great place for engagement pictures!!
Leading up to their June wedding, ‘tut tut’ it looked like rain….. BUT we lucked out – it only rained as the guests entered the church!! We got lucky they didn’t plan an outdoor ceremony!! Things ran beautifully at the church – don’t miss the funny/cute picture of Julie’s dad before the ceremony : )
After the pressure was off and ceremony was over, the fun began on their party bus which first brought us to the Prom Center where their reception was going to take place – they wanted to see it all set up! It was BEAUTIFUL! Then we drove to Como Park, which was bouncing with wedding parties! We got some fun shots in : )
So, we headed back to the reception hall – J&P did their first dance right as they entered and things went very smoothly : ) There were great speeches given – and they even had a DQ ice cream cake for each table – how fun!
The dance was a blast – a huge part in thanks to their awesome band – Deuces Wild – AMAZING!! They are hilarious!
