When we met with Courtney and Ben I knew that I would just adore photographing them 🙂 These two are just fun to be around – Courtney’s laugh and smile are just contagious!  I loved it when they shared that they wanted to start off at a Dairy Queen – so we chose this season stand and afterwards made our way to Como Lake in St Paul.  We used to photograph more sessions there when we lived in St Paul – so it was fun to get back to our initial stomping grounds as a married couple!
These two have quite the love for Dairy Queen – so they wanted to make one of their weekly trips part of their session 🙂
I love how these two are just themselves around each other {and in front of the camera too!}
We didn’t have many more summery nights after this session – it was great to capture that warmth!
The Canon 50mm 1.2 is my favorite lens – that photo above is exactly why 🙂
I love the pine trees in this side part of the park – Dan and I use to sit here and watch the sunset when we lived nearby!
