Some Recent Engagment Shots

We had several engagement shoots in the month of July ’09… Summer is certainly a wonderful time for engagement photos, so long as the weather is permitting. It can do any number of things… heat, wind, rain, excessive bugs or even cold. Karin and I really like Loring Park for our engagement shoots but it was great to get to scout out some new places.

This set we got to do at a lake cabin that belongs to Sarah’s family. We were a little worried about the rain but we managed to stay dry until the end. We ended up liking this spot a lot…it made for a nice fusion of adult romance and childhood fun.

This one is another nice spot we got to check out. I continue to be surprised by the number of parks and gardens around Minneapolis and St. Paul! We’re very much looking forward to Matt and Sarah’s wedding in January.

We had a great time shooting these photos and exploring some new spots with Anna and Tracy. It really is neat to be able to use different background elements such as nature and industrial within just a few blocks of each other!
