Mike & Sarah's Wedding

Sarah and Mike’s wedding was at Saint Phillip the Deacon in Plymouth, Minnesota, just west of Minneapolis. They were fortunate enough to have their wedding on one of the few sunny November Saturdays! So, we were able to go outside after the wedding to get some outdoor shots before the reception started.

Of course, Karin and I get to sample a lot of wedding cakes, but this was the first Carmel Apple flavored one we had tasted, and it was certainly delicious.

Also, there aren’t pictures of this below, but there were some kids at the reception that were throwing themselves across the dance floor, so people line dancing had to dodge them – funny stuff!

This was the first wedding we have photographed using a Canon 7D. It definitely proved itself, and was exactly what we were looking for to complement our 5dmkii. Its auto-focus features are definitely superior, and the image quality is great for an aps-c sensor.
