Jenny & Joe's Engagement Pictures

If you read our blog, you’ll see we’ve spent a lot time up at Minnehaha Falls for engagement photos and family portraits… and this time was really great. Joe and Jenny were our last Fall engagement portrait session of ’09!

Since engagement sessions are meant to be fun and relaxed, forgetting the engagement ring at your house and then getting lost on the way there isn’t exactly getting off on the right foot ;-) … But, Joe and Jenny really did an awesome job of having fun and acting natural, so their pictures turned out wonderfully.

Though the Fall colors were mostly gone, this actually presented us with an opportunity that isn’t normally there. For most of the year the bridge is hidden by trees, but this time there was a view just big enough to get a beautiful picture of them sitting on top of the bridge.

One really fun highlight of the day was that we actually saw an albino squirrel running around! You can see him on the left side of the photo with the two of them walking under the trees.

We are very much looking forward to shooting their wedding this summer!
