We got to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon with our friends Kim, Ryan, and Kim’s mom to shoot some portraits of them with their dogs. If you don’t know already, we love dogs! We have two puppies that are weimaraner/pitbull mixes. We got them from the humane society in Winona, and they’re just over a year old. They’re both very loving and fun dogs, and we have probably taken about a thousand photos of them this year. Some are done in a portrait style, but most are candid ones of them acting crazy. Neither of them seem to like being photographed anymore so we just have to be real sneaky about it!
One of Kim’s dogs evidently had a bad experience with either a camera or photographer in the past, but it seemed like the nice weather Karin’s voice was enough to distract him from the camera. Both dogs actually ended up being very cooperative!
