It was so much fun taking Nate and Katie’s pictures – I have know Nate since high school {yeay band!} and I actually coached Katie’s high school dance team for one season! We are also both a part of the history of Miss Winona’s : )
Anyways – we went down to Latsch Island in Winona and got some great photos. We are so excited for their August 15th wedding back in Winona!! Location: Winona, MN
We met Mike and Katrina through church – so we are super excited to have yet another Hope CC wedding this year! Their big day is approaching soon – so look for more pictures in a month or so of their wedding!
We had such a blast hanging out with you two for this fun pictures – thanks for the sorbet as well! Location: Lake Harriet and Sebastian Joes
When we first met Bre and Dana – we knew that they would be one of those couples – as in – we would really get along with them : ) TRUE! They are such fabulous people and we enjoyed every minute of hanging out with them and being part of their day!
We started with them at 4pm on a beautiful Friday summer afternoon… The sun was shining, blue sky, big puffy white clouds – picture perfect : ) We took some really fun pictures, they were SO happy to see each other, and just as we were finishing up – rain started showing it’s wet face… Rain then turned into a downpour and downpour turned into the hardest rain of the summer so far! Oh yea – they were scheduled to have an outdoor ceremony that evening…. Hence the pictures of everyone sitting around in the pavilion. They made the most of it – taking pictures under the overhang, playing cards, and staying relaxed : ) Bre was such an easy going bride! She did her best to wait it out, but then they made the decision to head up to the reception site and get married there. It was still a beautiful ceremony!! We had so much fun at their dance and with their photo – also – a shout out Kelly Anderson – for coming with us that day! It was fun to have you along! Make sure to see when Bre dances with her daddy : ) To ‘Dancing on Daddy’s Shoes’ – literally! Thank you Bre and Dana for letting us be part of your day! We can’t wait to see pictures from your reception in the Bahamas! Location: Minnehaha Falls and St Anthony Main
Our day started off by taking some getting ready pictures in their hotel rooms. Our time there was mainly spent doing two things, documenting everything Sarah did to get ready and the other – Chuck watching the World Cup games in his room : )
We then headed off to Centennial Lakes in Minneapolis for taking pictures {which is a fun location for that!} Their ceremony went really well – along with one of my favorite parts of the day was during their ceremony, they decided to plant a tree {as opposed to lighting a candle or unity sand} What an awesome idea!! At their reception they chose to have dinner catered from their favorite deli – just another nice personal touch to their day! Some ore of their fun details included their wonderful cake, their takeaway gifts {basil plants that Chuck’s mom planted} and their centerpieces!! you need to check those out : ) Charles and Sarah – thank you for letting us be part of your day – we had a great time!! Location: Centennial Lakes
