Weddings are great opportunities for things to go wrong… so many people are involved… an no matter how much you plan there are just some things that slip through the cracks. Feel free to laugh… all of these people are happily married.
1- Bride loses her underwear (before the wedding)
2- Bridesmaid rips the zipper off her dress
3- Mom shuts own head in trunk of car and splits open forehead (fixed with glue)
4- Torrential downpour on wedding day traps wedding guests and kills several people in the area
5- Rouge musician won’t play Brides processional song; everyone waits and wonders where the Bride is for 3 very LONG minutes
6- Spiders and ticks invade outdoor wedding (photographers had 5 ticks by end of day!)
7- As bride and groom are leaving for the night no birth control can be found
8- Bridesmaid faints during ceremony and is promptly replaced by a helpful guest
9- Child gets stuck through back of chair… pants need to be removed
10- Half of wedding party gets lost on the way to pictures
11- DJ can’t find mother son dance song
12- No one dances at the reception…. except the DJ
13- Unity candle won’t light… at all
14- Brides dress taken in 4 sizes… still too big (requires 20 safety pins to stay on)
15- One of six groomsmen “didn’t know” he was supposed come along for outdoor pictures at park
16- Groom sits down and rips gaping 8 inch hole in seat of pants.
17- During toast, Best Man says wrong name for Bride
