Aleida and Marcus met as students while attending Calvin College in Michigan. After graduation, Aleida moved home to Minneapolis where she had a teaching job, and Marcus moved back home to Chicago for his civil engineering job. They were able to overcome the distance between the two cities, and once they were engaged, plans were finally in motion to get these two back in the same state and married!
No detail was forgotten for their wedding day. From the homemade baked goods that Aleida personally baked for all of their guests (including a Dutch specialty pastry – yum!), to their initials in the church doors where they did their sparkler exit from the ceremony, every detail added a special touch to the day.
Beyond the amazing details at the church and reception, their day was full of the most amazing moments. Aleida had a first look with her dad, who wasn’t allowed to see her dress until she was in it on her wedding day. Both Aleida and Marcus
smiled from ear to ear as she made her entrance down the aisle during the ceremony. The joy and emotion of Aleida, Marcus, and their sweet family and friends will forever stand out in our memories.
Many thanks to Aleida and Marcus for inviting us into your lives during this exciting time , we loved getting to know you and call you our friends throughout this process!

Rochelle
