I distinctly remember meeting Ali for the first time…. At the Tea Garden : ) One of my favorite places! Anyways – we just met with Ali because Jake {at that point} was in school out at West Point – but now he’s graduated, they’re married on off living the married life!
Their wedding day started with…. You guessed it – rain. But luckily for us – it was over by the time we started : )
Ali and Jake waited until their ceremony to see each other and we started with them just before their beautiful ceremony started. This was our first time at the Chapel at Fort Snelling – it is a neat building! I love all the flags.
Everything ran smoothly. We got to take some wonderful pictures outside of the chapel and then took a rather fun limo ride {through a bit of rush hour and two bottles of champagne later!} we were at the Earle Brown Heritage Center for their reception.
We had a great time walking about the premise and getting some great photos. Don’t miss the great jumping picture with the bridal party – what a great one!
The EBHC really provides for some swell back drops – plus the bride and groom are pretty easy on the eyes as well : ) {pardon my language…. Dan has me watching the Andy Griffith show these days….}
One of my favorite parts of the day was when instead of clinking glasses, Ali and Jake’s friends would howl – because Jake and Ali’s last name is Howell : )
Ali and Jake – thank for letting us be part of your wonderful day! You have been blessed with amazing friends and family who we are so happy to have met and we know God will continue to bless your relationship together!
