About Us

The Crew -

Hey guys! Thanks for dropping in! Hopefully you've enjoyed flipping through some of our images!!

You may be wondering - who are these new people? Well - now there are four of us! DnK now have SnH! We asked Scott and Hannah to join us not only because of their mad skills behind the camera, but also because of the dynamic they bring being a married couple as well. Over the past 4 years we have heard numerous accolades as to how much the bride and groom apprecated having not just two photographers - but a married couple there with them.

Not only will it allow us to serve more brides and grooms but also offer a variety of package and pricing options. Please continue to flip through and read more about us as couples and individuals!

Dan and Karin –

Olive Oyl and Popeye. Daisy and Donald. Homer and Marge. Maxwell and Fran. All dynamic duos. People go well in pairs you know - and what's funny about it all is how different all the great duos are.

We think that's us too. It's funny how different we are - yet - we work so well together. Knowing what the other is going to do or need next. Catching that different angle to create a dazzling work of art.

Our story is swift - we fell in love in a coffee shop in January, engaged in the rain in a train in May and married in a rain storm in the end of August. Many thought we were crazy, we just knew we were crazy in love.

That's when DnK Photography was created because of the hobbies we had and the joy we knew in getting married. We wanted to share with people in their special days and give amazing pictures to remember it by.

So here we are - over three years later. Now let's hear your love story...

I love the ability a photograph has to create a lasting image of the fleeting moment… the perfect sunset, the biggest firework, a loving kiss, a BIG smile. I am honored to capture images that will eventually become the memories of our couples wedding days.

When I’m not photographing weddings I also enjoy photographing nature and architecture. You can view a gallery those photographs at www.DanBerdalPhotography.com I love being crazy with our dogs Moses and Maizy, eating healthy, mountain biking and listening to music. I’m thankful to God for everything I am and have.

It's weird but, I'm a Minnesota born and raised hard-core Packer fan

Red food dye makes me go bonkers

I think Jesus is awesome

I love weddings - and cry at them all

I really can't resist a good piece of cake

You can find me at Costco at least twice a week

My husband is amazing - and probably the coolest person I know

Our dogs are hillariously weird

One of my current goals is to cook/bake and take pictures of the food my grandma always makes and make a cookbook

Scott and Hannah –

Our lives are a story. A story full of love, adventure, and faith. If one word could define the two of us, its Joy! Joy to love and joy to live. Joy, joy, joy! It's written everywhere in our lives. In our families, our over-sized black Lab, our friends, our recent pursuit of gardening, our craziness, and our photographs.

We are Scott and Hannah Muhs (Pronounced mew-s, German!). We are husband and wife. Lovers. And photographers. We like to explore, journey, and live life with a happiness no one can take from us. We are children of God.

Scott –

Life for me is fun. It is exciting. It is full of beauty, and story telling. Everywhere I go, I see a photograph. Its a bridge, a building, a park, a lake, a laugh, a tear. Sometimes when I blink, I pretend im taking a picture in my head. Something I feel would make a worthy picture. I don't know if its a because I'm a photographer or if its why I'm a photographer. But none-the-less, it happens. Alot. And I enjoy it. I see a picture in what some see as a mess.

But I'm not all about taking photos. I'm about my wife, my dog, video games, soccer, and good food. I love to explore and the out doors. I love a good movie with my wife at home on a Friday night. And don't forget the ice cream. I love good theology, And well written books. And I love God, wholeheartedly. My joy is in Him.

A few things about me

I love to be outside. It could be running, gardening, or simply sitting out on a dock with a good book. My favorite thing on earth, besides my husband, (cheesy I know), is stargazing. Some of the best decisions are made under a blanket of stars, plus they are one of the last things untainted by human hands. I enjoy “arts and crafts,” as Scott calls it. Crocheting, painting, wood working. It’s true! I am a 90-year-old lady, in a 25-year-old body. I love things that have sentimental value, like a grandmother’s ring given as an engagement ring. I love my husband and exploring our creative minds together through photography. I hope to someday wander the countryside of Scotland with him, taking pictures of all the historical castles. What defines me the most is my overwhelming joy to be called God’s child. We don’t deserve his Grace but he gives it freely.
